Our hero, pianist Max Burton, with a talent for time travel as well as music, decides to visit the distant future to see what’s to become of humankind. He goes with a list of questions but inadvertently gets mixed up in intrigue; a dangerous plot to save the earth from imminent destruction. Along the way he finds his friends and lovers from the past and present and learns that the world of the future is a world turned upside down.
